G930 not being detected

[ Edited ]

Windows 8, 64-bit. I can't even find the G930 driver in the Device Manager. Is there a way to manually install the driver?

When I initially installed this, it worked. The next day I try to use it and it doesn't work. There is no light on the wireless adapter and the headset blinks indicating it can't detect it. The LGS software says it's unable to detect a device.

I've tried the following-

- Reinstalling many times

- Restarting many times

- Different USB ports

- Wireless adapter directly into USB port (instead of the hub)

- Running installation and LGS software as an admin

I've also tried it on another computer running the same Windows 8/64-bit system and it was not detected.

My thought is the driver isn't being installed properly since I can't find it in the device manager.

Please help.

edit: thanks and happy new year :smileyhappy:

Re: G930 not being detected

Hello browns99df,

I think the issue is either your Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset is not paired to the receiver or the receiver is faulty that's why it's not connecting to the headset. Try the following:

  • If the Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset is not paired with the receiver, try reconnecting it. Follow the instructions on this article.
  • If the receiver is faulty, contact the Logitech Support Team of your region so they can process a warranty replacement for it.

I will be getting a warranty replacement as it seems my wireless adapter is defective.

Thanks
