Just got a h600 headset from newegg and it works really great except for 1 thing. When ever i play an avi or mkv file i get random popping and crackling. Teamspeak, video games, mp3's, youtube, and other formats of music and video clips work great.

I do have an arch touch mouse from microsoft that uses a nano receiver as well, both seem to get along together but i did try without it for a while and made no difference.

tried playing the avi's in different media players, also made no difference.

Gonna charge it to full and try again tomorrow any suggestions would be appreciated

Hello sharpe978,

Please ensure your receiver is plugged directly in to your computers USB port and not in to a pass through device such as a USB hub.  If possible, please test your headset on a different computer.  If your problem persists, I would recommend you contact Customer Care in your region for further assistance and a possible warranty replacement.

Hi, i have the exact same problem, 

  the clacking and popping does only for avi and kmv, ive tried it on my laptop and works fine.. but on my desktop i get this wierd error.. 

  Ive tried every single USB port on desktop, front panel, back, hub, extention, keybords.. i cant get rid of this problem..

 Is there any solution / bypass for this? i kinda liked the headset didnt want to returned them just because i cant see movies
