Hi, I am trying to answer incoming Skype calls using the Answer button on the side of my H800 wireless headset with no success.

I can click answer in Skype using the mouse, and then I hear and can talk with the headset with no problems.

I also have the headset chosen as the default in the PC Audio options and in skype itself.

Any ideas?

Has anyone been able to get this to work?

Hi Seena,

This feature doesn't need any extra configuration to work, I would try to make sure that the headset microphone is the one selected as default in the control panel and in Skype settings too.

Yes it does.

But apparently this does not work to answer calls.

Hi Seena,

I'm really sorry for the confusion but you can verify the info I provided in: the product page (under features, where it says Plays Nice) and in the Getting Started Guide for the H800 headset (in the first section under features number 11 under Headset Controls and section 4 under try the headset)

The H800 headset can answer incoming calls on Skype, when it's used in Windows 7 using the Play/Pause button.

Hi Seena,

I understand that you really need this feature to work but please keep in mind that this specific feature doesn't need any extra software and there is a chance that it may not work in some workarounds. Please go to FAQ Controls on the H800 headset not working for further information.

If you are advertising it as working, I'm not quite sure why I should not expect it to work.

I have already been there and it did not help. This was one of the features that made our company buy this headset, as we are a virtual call center whose management team uses skype daily.
