I have a new H800 wireless headset that works fine except when I use the "Test" function on the Playback Tab under Control Panel / Sound / Manage Audio Devices. I right-click the Speakers (Logitech Wireless Headset) icon then click "Test".
The left speaker plays a bell sound, then the right speaker. The left sounds perfect, while the right is very crackly.
I called support and was offered to return my headset and order a new one. So, I did - and had the SAME PROBLEM.
So, after no immediate web search results, I started looking at drivers and settings. All audio drivers were up to date.
Eventually I found a solution that worked for me:
-- Right-Click the SPEAKERS icon under Control Panel / Sound / Manage Audio Devices
-- Click PROPERTIES
-- Click the ENHANCEMENTS tab
-- Check the BASS BOOST checkbox and click OK
Now, when I perform the TEST function, I get clean sound out of both speakers.
This seems to be a driver issue - not sure which driver, but the above settings fixes it for me.

Since the crackling noise is only happening when you rare using the receiver, I would try using the receiver in a different USB port and move away from devices that may be causing interference such as a wireless router, cordless phones or speakers.
If you still have bad audio please contact our phone support team to verify the warranty information, maybe you have a defective receiver that needs to be replaced.

Since the sound issues that you've experiencing with your H800 could be caused by interference, please go through the FAQs below. The information on them would help us to identify and avoid interference.
If after trying this the issue persists, please place a call to our support team. They will help you identify if the issue is related to the hardware and they can also check if your H800 is under warranty.

I did all of the things that were listed here and I still have the same problem.
I've done some google searches and it seems more people are having problems with this headset. I'm experiencing buyer's remorse and wish I had done a bit more research before buying this headset. I also feel that a replacement isn't going to fix my problem as the new one will most likely have the same problem as was already pointed out by someone else who posted in this thread.
So in this case, could I send back my headset and get a completely different model?

Even though the chances of getting two malfunctioning H800 headsets are really low, I would recommend that you try to place a call to our support team. They will help you check in your region's policies if it is possible to replace them with a different model.

I was able to get rid of the pops and clicks by mooving the USB reciever from my PC to an empty USB port on my monitor. I know that the instructions tell you to plug it into the machine, but moving it to the monitor is working better for me.
