I'm still getting a ton of feedback from the microphone unless I'm using one of the preset voice changers. I also can't use the microphone at all basically because of this issue until I revert back to the old software. One of the last updates to the old software actually fixed this issue so I'm not sure why that fix isn't in this software. Or if it is, it's simply not working for me. Having an icon to show if you were in surround sound mode was very convenient, why did you guys get rid of that? Also is there an option to disable that software that automatically turns off the headset? It's incredibly annoying.

Couple of issues
- When I rebooted my system (Win7 Ultimate x64) the G930 was not detected. I could hear audio through the headset but had to adjust the audio via the audio icon in the systray. I unplugged the USB cable for the headset and reconnected it. Now the headset is detected.
- The darn headset will still auto power off!!!!!! This is a function override that has been requested for a couple of years. Will Logitech ever listen to the customer and provide the function?
- How do I add plugins? I want to add the plugin "Windows Power State" from the AsmodianG930Plugins.
I use my headset for
- Listening to music
- Teaching VoIP classes
- Dictation via Dragon Speaking Naturally (I will start this after I complete my current system rebuild. I just installed SSD for the boot drive).
- At the present time I do not play any games, I just don't have the time
for such.

@Logitech:
Now there are 2 fixes that have to be applied to LGS:
- The old 'Laser Tuned' G35 and G930 drivers should be in LGS, G35 & G930 have muffled, bad quality sound with LGS.
See this thread for more information: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Headphones-Headsets-
Just compare on your own if you own a G35/G930, the quality is noticable different. especially with music.
Greetings,
Melvin.

Hi im not happy with the updated software i have only had them since friday 30th December, i updated the software and it seems extremely buggy, looks nice but i had freezes, false battery information and the mic being on when i 1st connect even in the upright position, i expected more for a top end headset.
Anyway i have gone back to the drivers which came with it this has software version v1.00.364, driver date 18/03/2011 1.1.11.0
Hope that makes sense anyone else using that version? as it seems to display the battery time correctly now and i could be wrong sounds a bit better with music, also puts a headphone icon in my system tray where the new software it wouldn't.
Thanks
Guy

I got this new software on and now not only do I have the complete pain in the *** problem of trying to get it recognized in the first place when I plug it in I am getting a new problem of the USB stick dropping out and my sound returning to the speakers and then being recognized again and the sound goes back to the headset. This happens in a crazy loop every few minutes making my headset completely useless. It was a HUGE pain in the *** before, but at least it was usable once I got it recognized and now I have a 180 dollar useless peice of garbage headset because you guys can never, ever, ever seem to fix anything with this software and only seem to introduce new problems.
I bought this thing near release and I have never had an easy time with the garbage software and now it is so bad the whole thing is garbage - useless!!!!!!
FIX THIS COMPLETE GARBAGE. I don't want to go spend ANOTHER couple hundred bucks for a headset when I SHOULD have a perfectly good set here.
I am SO UPSET and at the END of my nerve here.

For shame Logitech, this is absolutley deplorable.
I bought a G930 at release, had nothing but issues. I suspected everything down to my PC being the culprit, because I never would have imagined a company like Logitech releasing a product that messed up my entire computing expereince like that.
After getting a new PC, I just gave up on the official software and relied on the built-in WIndows drivers. Sure there is much less functionality that way but at least I can listen to audio problem free.
Then recently I saw that the G930 was now supported under the LGS so I gave that a try, I thought to myself they must now have fixed all these issues since it's entirely new and very spiffy software.
But no, it's still broken and driving me insane... the headphones often fail to connect, video players keep crashing, audio players keep crashing, games keep crashing, YouTube and all other Flash-based browser content keeps crashing. Thank you Logitech, guess I'll go back to the plug and play drivers and deal with not having a battery readout, I find that preferable to having my i7 computer upchuck and freeze at the mere thought of playing some music.
