Guys a few tips I got from CharlesB and want to pass on that might help.
If you use Vista or Win 7 disable EHCI handoff in the BIOS as this could improve USB stability.
Update your chipset drivers to the latest ones to make sure you have the newest USB drivers available for your platform.
Finally a tip from me is to use the 364 version of the drivers as they have better sound, the g keys work and it seems to have much less connectivity issues.
Hope that helps!

To get the Logitech G35 headset working with LGS 8.20.74 under Windows 7 64bit I had to manualy update the drivers for the headset via Windows Device Manager with the drivers supplied with the LGS software.
C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\USBAudio
The problem appears to be that Windows either installs the headset using old drivers or ones downloaded from Windows Update.

I have a problem it won't recognize G35 no matter what USB port I put it in. I don't see how this new software improved (defunct) detection helps at all.

Great update and all. I like how it makes ladfgsramd64.sys cause Bsods whenever I play a game. Any help would be appreciated before I pulp my G35 and get a better headset. Ahhh, $100 to waste for shoddy software. Better get me some Turtle Beach or something. Anything not Logitech.

This update is extremely buggy for my G930 headset.
Bug #1:
The Gaming Software doesn't detect my headset, but when I restart the software it detects it (sometimes requires 2 restarts).
Bug #2:
Due to the undetection in Bug #1 I can't use surround sound mode until I restart the software.
Bug #3 (THE MOST SERIOUS BUG):
The headset frequently disconnects and reconnects.
If the next update doesn't fix this, or if I run out of patience, I will most likely switch back to an older version of the Gaming Software which worked perfectly.
I've had no other bugs with my headset and it's working perfectly with my G510 keyboard. I also like the interface a lot.

I guess it's safe to say either Logitech is working on a massive update that is going to fix our problems for the past many months ... or they are going to come out with totally new products soon and completely stop caring about our issues for the G930 and the G35.
Any guesses as to what is probably the truth?

How long until we get another update? I'm not sure how much longer I can deal with my headset constantly disconnect and reconnecting when plugged in to charge. It's basically unusable in wired mode right now. Doesn't help that after 15 months of ownership it only holds a 4hr charge.

Well my replacement headset was working properly for a while until yesterday. Now I can't game at all as my headset drops within 5-20 minutes and I can't get sound back unless I restart my computer.
It coinsided with the install of new AMD graphic drivers. I am wondering if this is a software conflict and not an actual hardware problem.
