Well, I received my Logitech G930 headphones today and am very disappointed. Whenever I turn the bass up it becomes scratchy and crackled. It's like there's a defect in the headphones. But it seems as if the defect is in the drivers or using a self-powered USB hub.
I've tried the self-powered USB hub and it did not fix my problem. Has anyone found a solution to the bass sounding nice and clear?

I'm having the same problem as I picked up a pair of the 930s.
I've had the G35s and the bass would kill my ear drums before distorting.
But my pair of 930s crumble with the slightest amount of bass and just become distortion.
I've even had the Bass at 0db and it still was distorted.
Please help us!

After getting home and playing with my headset I noticed that the bass distorts any where after the first notch after 0db on bass.
This is very different compared to the G35s I have. I cranked the bass all the way up and no a notice of distortion. What I'm thinking the problem is that the speakers are power starved, hence the limitation. Having them plugged in isn't going to do anything as it seems it's always drawing juice from the batteries, even while charging.

Yeah, I've tried everything and nothing works for me, sadly.

Thats because you use the bass control in the main panel, u are gonna use the equlizer.
Because when you use the bass in the main panel you are turning up the pre-amp and that doing it so cracky

Would be nice of them to include some pre-sets for the advanced EQ.

There's major bass distortion even at the default settings. Is there a fix coming down the pipes soon? I'm not really enjoying having to turn the bass way down just to play games without distortion.
