I have always been a fan of Logitech. However, it seems like everything I own will last a year or so and then break.
I own the following items:
"Cordless Desktop® MX™ 3000 Laser" keyboard and mouse set.
"X-230" speaker set.
"Wireless Headphones" the PC set that are bluetooth with the plastic head band.
"Logitech Revue"
Three of my four items are now giving me problems.
1. The left-click button on the Mouse on the cordless desktop set has malfunctioned and no longer works.
2. The Logitech Revue is still working, but the is an intermittent static noise that comes and goes, almost like a power surge.
3. Last but not least, my super awesome headset (with known plastic headband issue) has held up for several years and after reading all the horror stories of this headset breaking, I was quite proud that mine was still working. I had not used it for a month or so and pulled it out around all my techie co-workers and started using it in my cubilce daily. Everyone drooled over the sound quality, so you can imagine by disappointment when today I noticed the headband cracking.
I think this may have just pushed me in to looking at other manufacturers and recommending other brands to my co-workers and friends.
Very sad day indeed, I loved Logitech.
