Hi, as the title suggests whenever I mute the mic on my headset it makes a huge crackling noise. I've learnt how to mute it for me by disabling my side tone but I checked on voice preview and I can still hear it. So anyone I talk to can here this. This is an extremely annoying problem for me and I do not know if software alone can fix it. I would've probably sent for replacement but I have a problem. While I have all the parts in working condition (Minus the mic problem) My mother thought it was a good idea to get rid of the box because she considered it 'clutter' So now I can't get that P/N code or whatever it was called and submit a ticket to Logitech. If I am entitled to a refund which I think I might since I haven't had this headset for even a half a year let alone a year I hope I can get one if their isn't a fix to this. Hell even if there is a way to replace the microphone part on my headset would be nice I mean everything else works perfectly. If anyone out there has a quick-fix for this it would be extremely appreciated if any of you are gamers you must know the importance of having standard mic quality.

Hi, thank you reply and sorry for replying late just had a lot of stuff happening recently. About ringing your tech support is there an e-mail version I could contact on the matter? Just more of an e-mail person, don't know if there is or isn't one I'm not a very good morning person so I may have over-looked it. But I'll try ringing. This may be a stupid question never really phoned any support places before but is the call charge rate in specific countries or not? Thank you for your time.
