I just bought the UE 200vi but the on-cord controls aren't working on my iPhone, even thought it's advertised in the manual ("remote and microphone are supported by … iPhone 3GS …, etc. ) that it should. It's an iPhone 3GS running iosx 4.3.

Anyone know if this is a know problem and if there's a way around if it is?

Found out what was causing the problem. Found it on an Apple support forum. It seems a piece of lint in the audio input was causing interference with the headset controls. You just have to pick it out with a neesle every now and then. So stupid and small you might miss it.
