Anyone having problems with the G35 not being detected by the new gaming software, please read!
This isn't a 100% fix, but its quick and easy. First, if the new software is not detecting your headset, reinstall. This time, when it asks to un-plug the headset, unplug it, click next, then immediately plug it back in. I don't know if this will solve it for EVERYONE, but it worked for me.
I hope this helps anyone with problems!

Nice!
Though this is a TEMP Fix, since you have to repeat this everytime you unplug your headset.
But it worked here! Try this out people, it's a good temp fix untill Logitech releases a new WORKING sofware.

OMFG..!! This problem was driving me crazy..!! My fiance bought me the G35 last year as a gift and I had no problems..!! I had to get a replacement on May 2012 because they fell and broke *sigh*..!! Once I got home the software wasnt working and I was so upset and today I took them back for a replacement thinking that probably the CD or G35 were damaged..!! I found your solution awesome..!! It worked for me and after it finished installin the software it asked me to reboot my pc..!! I did that and now I can actually see my surround sound in red and the voice morpher working perfectly fine..!! You're a life saver..!! I LOVE this headset and didnt want to return it for something else..!!
Logitech now you guys need to get off your butts and fix this problem because this is ridiculous..!!
