UE 6000 with PC?

Hello, I bought an adapter so that I could use the microphone with a PC. I'm trying to use the UE 6000 as a gaming headset. However, I am getting no signal from the microphone. I have tested the microphone with my galaxy SIII phone, and it does work, however I have to leave the cable half plugged in so that I get no audio output. This means that I also can't use the headset for phone calls, because I can't listen and speak at the same time. How can I fix this issue? Do you have other cables I need to be using to support my Galaxy SIII and my PC?

Here is the cable I purchased:

Re: UE 6000 with PC?

Hi Bogden400,

Our Logitech UE 6000 are intended to be used on the following devices:

  • iPod, iPhone, iPad, Smartphones, Tablet PC, Portable MP3/media players

They can be used with PC's, however, they might not work as a Gaming Headset since they were not intended to be used that way.

Also, is possible that your cable is defective but in order to confirm that, could you please try to use your Logitech UE 6000 with another device? Do you experience the same behavior? If yes, I recommend that you please place a call to our Logitech Phone Support center to see how we can help.

Also, please take a look to our Logitech Gaming Headsets:

I hope this information was helpful.

Kind regards,
