Hello Daoud,
Please ensure your headset is plugged directly in to your computers USB port and not in to a pass through device such as a USB hub, or a KVM switch. If you are able to, please test your headset on a different computer. The headset does come with a two year warranty. If your problem persists, please contact Customer Care for your region for further assistance and a possible warranty replacement. There are identifying markings printed on the headset which can allow an agent to determine if it is under warranty.
I hope this helps you out.
Sincerely,

Hi to all
my opinion is this headset is a piece of rubbish, I replaced 3 in the first year and the same 2 problems kept popping up, the shop keeper can't stand seeing my face again and I am sick of going back with the same problems and not having a reliable headset.
problems are :
1) same as in the case you mention my headset starts not being recognized : I am a ps3 gamer and use headset a lot on PC as well. at first it seems that rebootong the PC you work on make the trick, but don't you dare test your luck as after a few times you reboot or even switch PC the trick seems to stop working & the headset dies for good.
2) Microphone damages really easily and on 2 of the 3 headset it stopped working.
I was so annoyed I started using a low end Plantronics brand headset and guess what? its been working 2 years with no prob at all(quality not the same but hey.. it works), I can literally stomp on it and it keeps functioning like clockwork.
I have been a big purchaser of logitech products until I encountered this product which was approx 40 € here in Spain (not exactly cheap) and I initially happily paid the 10€ euro extra price it cost against the other non "laser finished" logitech headset, and having had to repeatedly go to the store to try get the logitech headset fixed (to no avail -always needed replacing) I ended up spending a lot of time and loosing money on this useless trips.
I am no longer gonna buy logitech also as the customer support was terrible , I called , no explanation of why the defect presents repeatedly, even searching on web forums etc and they did not offer an effective solution . by the way , every time I returned the product to the shop kept it 1 or 2 days to evaluate the xchange. I was instructed every time to replace the unit
Really not happy
To Logitech - this has been a very good way to loose a good customer. if a product lifetime performance is so poor like this one you really should not place it on sale. or at least recall as on the web you find THOUSANDS of user with the same problem (not tens or hundred).
