Hello pedrochin,

Try the following steps and see if it might help resolve the issue with the voice audio of your Logitech USB Headset H390 being muffled:

  • Go to the Control Panel.
  • Select Hardware, then go to Sound.
  • Under the Playback tab, right click the Logitech USB Headset H390, then click configure speakers.
  • Make sure that "Stereo" is selected under Audio channel.

Re: USB Headset H390 - can hear music but cannot hear voice

Thanks

-already did that, set to stereo, still cannot hear voice audio

-set the headset to the default, no change

-checked to see nothing was muted, everything on full volume

I suspect an incompatibility with the sound blaster add-in card

The best solution may be just to return this headset and purchase another competitor's...

-I really wanted to enjoy this headset for Christmas, but it has been anything but a simple "plug and play" experience

Re: USB Headset H390 - can hear music but cannot hear voice

Hello pedrochin,

Supposedly, sound cards shouldn't affect the functionality of a USB headset but there might be another step that we can try. Usually, add-in sound cards have their own user interface where you can set it to stereo, 5.1, 7.1, etc. Check if your sound card does have it's own user interface and try setting it to stereo.
