Im running WinXP 32bit and the problem is that i have 6 usb ports behind my motherboard, the first time i plugged the receiver dongle into the ports it worked fine. As in, when i plug the receiver into the back usb ports, it would say its detected blah, blah blah and would work.
After shutdowns, the ports wouldn't detect the the receiver - the receiver has a strong green light, so does the headset. So i decided to put it into ANOTHER one of the back usb ports, had to shut down, came back on the next day and it wouldn't work. Now, after trying on ALL the usb ports (with the same process), NONE of them work. The back usb ports all detect any other equipment, such as flash sticks, portable hardrives, etc.
So then i bought a 4 port usb hub, and it works the first time i put it in, after a shutdown it doesn't work.
The headset works with my other computer and my laptop but not this one. This computer i built myself and im not sure if it has to do anything, but the cables, which are conencted to the 2 usb ports on the case aren't plugged into the motherboard because they just wouldn't work.
I've also downloaded the latest drivers for my motherboard and again, not sure if it has to do anything, whenever i startup, a message tells me "Unknown CPU detected, BIOS update is required to unleash its full power" Then it gives me the choice to press F1 and continue on as normal.
Would i need to update my BIOS? Sound card drivers (i dont have a soundcard, just the one that came with my mobo)
Please help me as this is a great pc headset, and im looking forward to it being used for gaming.

okay.. so your laptop got fried and you built yourself a computer from scratch.. problem is between reboots your wireless pc headset receiver is not being recognized and you are 100% sure it aint your pc, because you built it yourself.. and even though it gives you a message that you are using an unknown processor, you are still 100% it aint your puter....
well.. the fact, that it gives you the message that you have an unknown processor connected tells me, that just like your puter is tell you, that you need to update your bios... prolly most of your problems will go away after that... once you update the bios, go get the latest chipset drivers also...

it kinda depends on your BIOS also, some have the ability to reflash the BIOS from within the BIOS itself and the file loaded on a USB stick
if not, then I would check the instructions your motherboard manufacture gives, since you may need to make a special boot disc to update...
what mobo do you have?

It came with this CD which allowed me to update my BIOS but even after updating it, it gave me the same message.
Maybe i just didnt do it right, im not so sure. But i really don't want to be doing something im not sure of.

We just bought this headset about a month or so ago and tonight and the wireless no longer works. It looks like the USB antenna may not be working because the little light does not blink on it anymore. I think it may have broken. Where can we get that little piece or warranty replacement without having to buy another set of headphones?

I doubt very much the cause is her self built pc. I bought a pair of these yesterday charged them for the full amount turned them on and I get a message that this usb device is not recognized every thing else works on these same ports but headphones don't. Clearly this product is junk!
That's the second pair of headphones made by this company. Simple solution don't buy Logitech products! JUNK!

Im having a similar problem, I had wireless clearchat headphones installed "LAPTOP" and they worked perfectly for about 12 months, then I broke them accidently stepped on them "They fell from the shelf onto the carpet and I didn't realize"
Anyway, I head back to the shop and purchase another set, didn't worry about plugging in all the new USB stuff, I mean why should I "right?"
The new headset doesn't work, at this stage I still have logitech wirless headset option in my sound settings, so I plug the new USB gear in and NOW the drivers seem to have dissapeared and I cant get them to load, when Base loads it loads twice and neither works, I have tried uninstalling 1 and I have tried driver updates still no wireless headset option in sound menu. I have green flashing light on USB but no option in sound menu.
However I can plug them into my wifes desktop and bingo they work fine???
Something is stopping the drivers from loading correctly in my laptop, weird part is the last set worked perfectly with no problems?
I have even tried swapping the USB over and both work on the desktop?
Any suggestions?
