ClearChat Stereo headset (non-usb)

Ok well umm ive gone through so many things to set up the mic...I have Win XP with SP3.

Ive gone through all controls.  Gone through regisry to make sure the micdetection and and stuff was correct.  I can pick up sounds on the headset but voice recording dont work.  I have the headset plug in the line out (green) and mic in the pin.  Both plugs are black with the little icon of what they are on it.  Ive done all solutions I can.  I got the headset yesterday.  I have put a good deal of time in trying to get it to work.

And under voice recording all I get for devices is Realtek and every other category.  Shouldnt the headset be in 1 of them?

Thanks For Any Help

Re: ClearChat Stereo headset (non-usb)

Hi Pan,

This headset connects to your sound card. That is the device that has drivers. You can connect this headset to an iPod which has no drivers and it works. This is an analog headset. Do you have another computer to try it on?
