Internet Headsets + Phones (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

hey,

last night my ClearChat® Stereo headset + mic was working fine, no problems at all, but then i moved it down around my neck to take a phone call, and when i put it back up to my ears about 1 hour later, the mic just wouldnt work, ive tried so many things in windows, and nothing is working.

The mic cant be broken i brought it about 2 weeks ago. Anything I can do to get it working?

I also have this headset, my broke down after 2 weeks. This is really a big issue, because I never dropped it or anything, all I did was, I unplugged it and plugged it in my other computer. I am seeing that many people having problems with Logitech Headsets. Logitech fix this.I am never gonna buy a Logitch headset ever again, This is the fourth one that broke down on me!!!!!

i am actually experiencing problems with a brand new clearchat stereo headset, and the mic doesnt want to work and the trouble shooting information is not helpful what so ever, ive tried everything it says and the mic just does not want to work, it doesnt even register on my pc in say my windows live, i can find it in my options and stuff like that but help please someone tell me if im doing something wrong or if this just doesnt actually work with Vista (i hate vista) although it says that it does. logietech! fix this problem please!!!

I have the same exact problem, I just bought my logitech clearchat stereo headset about 2 weeks ago as well and it worked perfectly up until about 2 hours ago, the Microphone just suddenly will not work, I've tried everything, nothing is muted, I've re-installed my sound card drivers twice, I did not even change the ports they are plugged into, I tried restarting my computer twice, and unplugging/plugging them in multiple times. absolutely nothing works, please help!
