Internet Headsets + Phones (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

I purchased a ClearChat Stereo headset today.  I have it all connected but the mic part doesn't seem to want to work.  (The headphone part is working perfectly.) 

I've already tried:

  -uninstalled and reinstalled soundcard drivers

  -I plugged it into another computer and it worked just fine

  -deactivated my computers internal mic
