Gizmo5 has chipmunk voices on ClearChat Comfort USB

[ Edited ]

I'm trying to use my ClearChat Comfort USB with Gizmo5, and getting the same high-pitched "chipmunk" voice problem that others have described elsewhere: The conversation sounds okay to the person I'm calling, but in the headphones it's high-pitched to the point of intelligibility.

I've read through the posts and found no solution for USB headset users. The headset has worked fine for me with Skype and other applications. Any solution would be warmly welcomed.

On an iMac running OS 10.5.8

Thanks.

Hi,

Ifn the headset works fine in Skype for example, then the issue would seem to be in the settings for the Gizmo app.

I am having the same trouble when using Gizmo5. When I remove the headset, the sound is fine. But with the headset plugged in, using Mac OS X 10.5.8 I hear the dreaded chipmunk voice sound distortion. It would be great to see Logitech customer service post some answers about this.

Hi,

If the headset works in other applications it is an issue with Gizmo5. What do their support people say?
