Internet Headsets + Phones (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

I don't know if this is an issue, or what is going on..

I basically use my headset to talk to people via MSN, my issue is that it will sometimes completely mute the headset.. I will miss half or more of the conversation.. It just mutes my headset meaning I can't hear anything that is being said..

I really have no idea what is causing the problem, but it's annoying and it's irritating..

Anyone have any ideas?

It could be a broken wire, pleaee contact Technical Support for a replacement.
