Yup, I've went through THREE of these in the last six months. I have to use this particular headset, because in my area it's the only one available localy that has a built in soundbyte. Meaning it doesn't run off my soundcard, for when I'm in chat programs with my consultants and friends and more then one person talks at the same time as me, I don't hear an endless amount of echo.
My first headset the left one started to sound like it was going out, but would mostly work. Then as week later it went out entirely and all I could hear with was my right headphone. I don't listen to my music loud, such as that other guy might have suggested, but after having the second, and it just going out right away, this third one just tonight went out again. If i move my head a particular way I can get it to work for a couple of milla-seconds, but then it goes back to being quiet. It worked ALL night just fine while I listened to my music and movies, and suddenly didn't work when I moved my head to look at my child, and when I moved back it wouldnt work at all.
This is seriously upsetting me. I can't get another headset that works with my soundcard for some reason. I've tried dozens and dozens of them. I'm seriously thinking of just NEVER buying another Logitech headset if they can't do soething for me about it. I've put in over 120 dollars in buying headsets in the last half year. I think that is literally bullcrap. A headset should last a year or more. My last one wasn't logitech and before it died, it last me nearly 4 years! I'm not doing anything differently as I was before. I just don't get it.. I'm with you.. but logitech 350 ius terrible!..

I agree, I bought a pair of these in january... right ear went out on them today. It has something to do with that thin cord that goes from the volume control to the headset.
Can anyone else reccomend a more durable brand/type of headset? Seems headsets just are not logitechs cake seeing as all of their models suffer from some sort of issue... most revolving around a speaker going out after a short period.
