Equally Lost w/o Sound.

I have a similar problem. I am running Windows 7 tech evaluation and NONE of my logitech devices (5:1 speakers or clear chat stereo headset) function or are recognized. 

 

My soundcard is onboard sound on an intel motherboard. Microsoft says it's the hardware, Logitech says it's Microsoft software.

 

Make some sense of this please.

Hi,

Since all the devices you mention connect to your on board sound card, would hazard a guess that first you need to make sure the intel chipset driver is updated for Windows 7 and secondly that you need to make sure that the sound card drivers (usually a realtek chip) drivers are properly installed and are for Windows 7.

Ok well im having the same problem with ClearChat Style Microphone. I bought a couple of weeks ago was working fine till my Windows got messed up with the NTRDL error and had to do alot of things to fix it . And once i got it working ever since my Headset doesn't work and ive been trying to find SO many ways D: please someone help D:

 

Ill install any drive or sound card update lol im not an expert but i want to be able to talk to ppl! :smileymad:

My microphone is also not working with Ventrilo.  I have the ClearChat Stereo headset.  Please advise.

Test the mic with another application. If it is working in another application, then it is your Ventrilo settings.
