Hi there. I've been enjoying the sound quality of the Logitech digital precision pc gaming headset since this past holiday season. However, since this time, the microphone has not worked. I've tried on a multitude of occasions to fix it, tweaking settings, running tests, and even updating drivers for my motherboard (as I have no separate sound card). My mobo model, if it has been known to experience problems with the microphone, is the Asus P5K Premium. I run 32 bit Windows Vista Home Premium, and just updated to Service Pack 2, which also was to no avail. It is worth noting that I have an older, inexpensive Logitech headset/microphone, and it works fine. I'm forced to use this in online gaming simply for the mic functionality, and I'm fed up with being unable to utilize my new headset.

My frustration is growing, as this is also the first Logitech product I've experienced problems with. I figured that this would be the best place to look for concrete answers, and hopefully I recieve them.

The answer is probably rthat the mic is defective. Please contact Technical Support for a replacement.
