Internet Headsets + Phones (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

Ello..

Long story short--

I bought these headphones maybe 5 months ago, and they have been amazing. But recently (yesterday) before gaming i plugged the headphone/mic set in and was ready to go

Seconds later a message comes up saying USB Device Not Reconized... *claiming* it has malfunctioned and windows does not reconize it.

 Further investegation said that it had no drivers installed for it.

WHY IN THE WORLD DOES IT SUDDENLY HAVE NO DRIVERS

My apologies for digging an old post up. Was this resolved? What was the solution? I have the same issue with my headset (which is less than a year old). The headset was working just fine the other day and the next time I plugged it in to use, I got a message that says that it's malfunctioning. I tried the headset on another computer with the same result.
