When I plug my Logitech Premium Notebook Headset into my both iMac & Macbook running OSX 10.5.7, the volume is very low even when I turn it up to the max under System Preferences. In each instance the headset is plugged directly into systems without a hub.
The problem doesn't occur when I plug it into my PC running Win XP.
Any ideas?

Hi,
Did you update both Macs to 10.5.7 at the same time?
Have you checked the inline volume control? (yeah I know, lame question but I have to ask)

Hi I am having problems with setting up my Premium notebook Headset myself. I can see the headset connected successfully through usb. I cannot seem to get the sound to work through the headphones, but it does detect the mic.
I am running on a MacBook Pro, Leopard OS 10.5.7
I am also having problems with getting it to work at all on Ventrilo. I've tried what I knew through Ventrilo's settings and preferences on my mac. Cannot use push to talk, cannot get the mic to work when I begin to speak. I even checked if anything was muted, including the switch on the headset.
I feel like I may be overlooking something in my preferences and the settings in ventrilo. Please help! and if I am being vague somewhere let me know and I will try my best to clarify!
...I also tried plugging the headphones directly to the output while the mic was connected through the usb dongle, the headphone sound ends up extremely low and I even bumped the volume up to max on the laptop and on the control connected to the headset...

Hi,
Again, have you checked the inline control? If that is not the issue then please call Technical Support for a replacement.

It turned out to be a faulty headset which I got replaced. The replacement works for fine.

Hi,
I purchased Premium Notebook Headset several months ago and I haven't used it for a while. Now I realize that its microphone is not working. I tried some of the advices from previous threads, but still not working with my macbook pro. Can you help me with that?
Thanks,
Elif
