Internet Headsets + Phones (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

Recently reformatted harddrive and reinstalled Windows XP Pro + Service Pack 2. My USB mouse and keyboard work but my USB headset does not work.  When installing the headset through the Add Hardware Wizard, it fails and says "An error occured during the installation of the device: The data is invalid." I tried switching USB slots and it doesn't work.
