Got the same problem. I love the troubleshooting of the "USB device Not Recognized", it says: "Try reconnecting the device. If Windows still does not recognize it, replace the device." !!! It works on XP, so maybe something ELSE should be replaced??

I seem to have a problem with a logitech usb headset. To stop the headphones overiding my speakers, I stopped the device via sound devices (vista), although the microphone is still on the devices list, the headphones are not. I have no idea why the headphones are not working while the mic is. i have tried reinstalling the drivers for the headset, but whenever i plug the headset back in, the speakers do not show up, even though the microphone does. An help?

When using Windows Vista, you may find during the first start up your computer you will need to enable Automatic Updates to get the latest USB drivers. This is because factory Vista installs do not have the post-launch series of updated USB drivers. A sure sign of this is if your computer asks for a driver disk after connecting a Logitech USB Audio product.
