Internet Headsets + Phones (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

I just hooked up my clearchat headset, and for the most part am very impressed. Sound is very clear, and when i use windows 7's voice recorder program i'm able to record myself very well.

My problem is i cant seem to manage to send my voice out using any program.  I can hear other people talk to me, but am unable to output to them.  As i said, i can record my voice, and it plays back fine with the built in software, but windows live messenger and any and all games i've tried it seems like i'm muted, despite all settings being right.  what gives?

Hey there, just a quick tip, if your trying to use messenger go to Tools > Audio Setup > Custom > Your Line-in here. If that doesn't work then I'm lost, sorry.
