I have a basic logitech headset that works on both winXP and Vista on PC machines however the mic does not work on Vista running under bootcamp on a Mac Pro machine.
In the control panel it detects that that the headset line in has been plugged in. But it doesn't register any sound coming into the recording device. I've tried upping the audio input level to its max but that was the only suggestion I could find for fixing mic issues under bootcamp.
Would welcome any suggestions on getting this to work.

Hi,
Mac products do not have a "mic" in port. They have a "line in" port. All Logitech mics are condenser mics which require a small ~3 volt bias. Mac's line in does not provide this bias voltage.
