Hi,
There are a number of reasons for microphone transmission to sound garbled.
1. Too many devices connected to the USB port. There is only so much bandwidth available and USB is a bus that shares the bandwidth.
2. The USB driver supplied by the OS could be corrupt or not installed well.
3. If using an internet connection to transmit voice, the connection could be slow or fluctuating. Because this type of transmission does not carry any redundany capability, lost packets are not recovered and there is no buffering.
What can you try to fix the issue?
Remove all USB devices except thos necessary to test the headset.
Try to reinstall the USB audio driver.
Try the headset and voice app at another location and on another computer.
