where do in plug in my headset in computer

I am trying to install the head set into the computer.  I am using the color codes to the ports and they are not  working.  I have a large green wire that is already connected to the green port.  Even when i remove it and replace with clear chats it is still not installing.

 

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you

If it is the analog style headset with the green and pink jacks I don't think you need to install anything. It should be just plug and play.
