USB Device Not Recognised

I bought a ClearChat USB headset (wired), and it worked when I first plugged it in a few days ago, I've come back to use it again and it comes up with the above error.
I've just plugged it into my laptop as well, and it's coming back with the same thing.
I've read the forums, and it appears to a somewhat recurring issue, does anyone have the solution? I work during the week so do not have a suitable time to phone technical support, and no one has replied to my e-mail.
Any ideas?
