Hi,
I Love Logitech - Got myself Speakers, mouse, and Keyboard (going to get the wireless clear chat headset too)
It's the Dinovo Edge that I want to comment on, I have found that several (4) of my key caps have broken,

Underneath there are four clips, one of these has snapped off, I may be a little harsh when gaming, so I don't blame the keyboard or logitech - However I DO really need to get hold of some spare key caps so...

Has Anyone some Edge spares they want to sell me
Is there somewhere we can get Edge caps on-line
Will Logitech be able to sell me some spare key caps?

I do hope I can get some, as otherwise I spent way too much on a Keyboard that didn't last me long

I know Logitech does not sell any spare keys as replacement parts. They normally replacem the whole device so it's best that you call them

I hope thats not the case,
Maybe there is someone at logitech who can just scoop up a few caps from the returned broken kb's
and stick them in a jiffy bag. Seems such an easy thing to do, and saves a loyal customer having to spend
over £100 on another board.

But when company's get very big they tend not to be able to do things like that. Will see soon when I get time to phone.

Sorry to say this but that is the normal situation... trying calling them first and see what else they might be able to do for your case

Hi,

I am getting a replacement for my defective keyboard soon, I have to however distroy the keyobard so no one else can ever user it and take pictures of it in order to get my replacement.

I should be able to salvage a few keys as I intend to salvage the spacebar for my other Dinovo at work that has worn out, so I would be happy to oblige.

Just let me know what keys you need - I will only ask for postage costs you can have the keys for free

PS I am in the UK however this keyboard is American so there maybe some diff's to the Euro/UK models however the CAPS key is identical.

Any tips on how to remove the keys safely?

That would be fantastic. If you still have the board then taking the keys off is easy, just lift from the side. I only need the caps so it don't matter about the supports underneath.

What I would like is as many as the normal letter keys as you can abc123 don't matter which. Anything else is a bonus (and appreciated)

Hi,

Our standard procedure in these cases is to offer to replace the entire keyboard. We usually don't have any spare keys available to send as repalcements.

I know thats your standard procedure, corporate office told me so last week, they also gave me a the uk number to ring and said someone there in spares would send me a few caps out.

However they couldn't do that as they didn't have any. (why corporate sent me there I don't know)
It seems as soon as someone wants something, that slightly deviates from the norm it confuses everyone and they don't know what to do.

How difficult would it be to pop my address down and when a few spares come up just send them out.

There is no way I intend to return this one and get a new one for the sake of a few keycaps, What a complete waste of resources expense and materials that would be - totally goes against my green lifestyle

Would be nice if "someone" at Logitech could show a little Green in this situation.

Meanwhile I will keep on the lookout for a broken one to buy or if the other poster gets back to me.

Well, if we happen to have any keys available (not very often) we will send it to users who need them. I'm not usre if they currently have any in UK support.

I don't think I will buy such an expensive kboard again if the replacement parts are never availuble
