I just purchased the MX3200 Cordless Desktop.. Everything is fine, only my palm is constantly hitting the touch sensitive scroll bar on the left and/or the 100% button... The keyboard responds by beeping constantly! Is there any way to turn this off, it is the most annoying thing.. Thanks
Rick

Hi RickNy,
Welcome to the New Logitech Community Forums.
This feature can be disabled in the SetPoint software.
1. Launch SetPoint.
2. Click on the Tools tab.
3. Click on the Logitech Icon tab on the corner left of the SetPoint console.
4. Uncheck the "Signal status setting changes (such as Caps Lock) with a sound"
This should resolve your issue.

Mona,
Sorry -- that doesn't work. The box is already unchecked. That box controls whether or not the computer itself makes sounds.
Take a look at the keyboard on a MX3200 -- the beep is created from the speaker within the keyboard itself, not the computer. It will beep even if the computer is off and you touch the touch-sensitive scroll area.
The constant beeping when I typed became so maddening, I just ended up dismantling the keyboard and physically disconnecting the touch sensitive scroll from the circuit board. This was a REALLY bad design idea, could you please pass this on to your product design people if possible?

Hi RickNy,
I apologize for not fully understanding your previous post.
However, FN + pics key will mute sound for the slider on the MX 3200.
I hope this helps

Hi,
Just to inform you guyz that all options for the Dynamic Scroll and Zoom are compiled in the help menu in the Setpoint software. The help menu can be accessed under the Tools tab > Setpoint help center.
