Keyboard - Hardware

I recently purchased a wave keyboard and love it. Just one little thing that I can't figure out. My zoom buttons don't seem to do anything in any programs, word, IE, Firefox, MS pic manager, etc. Is the keyboard malfunctioning or what? Thanks for any help!

Can you tell me if you have the SetPoint software installed? The zoom buttons may not function without the SetPoint software.

I have same keyboard with newest SetPoint installed. Zoom button does work in these programs.

Hi Incano,

With regards to your issue, i suggest that you try testing the keyboard with a different USB port. Avoid using any USB hubs or extension to avoid any hardware conflict.

If the problem remains, try testing the keyboard with a different computer. This is to check if it is a hardware related issue.

I also seem to have the zoom buttons not functioning issue.
I tried to switch ports.
What are those buttons supposed to do anyway? What is their function/ in what programs?
Please solve this issue

Hi schwarts,

The zoom buttons are supposed to work in programs to zoom in and out of a file. You could try testing the zoom funtion in image viewers or in a website to zoom into the page.

Could you advise me if the other additional functions on the keyboard works? - F keys, hot keys, etc...

Hello. I have the same problem, and everything else works. Function keys, media keys, etc... And the zoom button works in xp (atleast in Firefox, but strangely enough not in IE), but not in any program in vista. And it kinda **bleep** cause I used it alot (using my tv as a screen, not very easy to read text in 1080p from 3 meters).

I have the same problem, except my zoom buttons NEVER work, even in Corel Paint Shop, Paint, IE, FireFox, Opera, Word, Excel.....

I have XP. Everything else works great.

I dont even see in Setpoint (nearly downloaded and installed) where I can change its default behavior.

Did I get a dud? Should I return it to where I bought it?

I have the same problem with the ZOOM keys also. They simply don't work after installing grater version of SetPoint 4.24.

To Logitech Support: When will be released new version of SetPoint software with fixed ZOOM keys??? I'm really disappointed.

I'm having that issue as well.  The document flip button is not working either.

Running Vista Ultimate 64bit with all updates etc.

Even the  Media Center button will not work properly, it keeps opening media player for some odd reason.
