Accessibility Options

I am a quadriplegic (cannot move arms) and i type using a pointer stick.

I recently bought the MX 5500 rev keyboard/mouse package. The keyboard is great but i'm faced with major hurdles.

First, the FN key. Because i type using a stick i can't press two keys at once (I use windows sticky keys), so pressing FN at the same time as a F# key is not possible...is there a way, like sticky-keys to press FN, have it 'lock' till i press a F# key?

Second, I rely quite heavily on the 'right-click' keyboard key...but i can't find it on my keyboard!

Finally, do you have an 'accessibility' resource i can access?

Much appreciated.

Re: Accessibility Options

The FN key doesn't send anything to the computer by itself, so making it into a toggle or delayed key would require a new firmware on the keyboard (if possible) or a complete redesign of the keyboard.

The AppMenu action on this keyboard is mapped to FN+Print Screen, so that won't help either.

You can access the AppMenu action via Shift+F10 as well (which works on any keyboard).

Over-all, this model may not work well for you.
