Linking keyboard setting to software ?

I have G5 mice and recently bought media keyboard.
I am happy with possibility to link mice keys settings to software but I see no options to do same for the keyboard.
Question is, is there possibility to make additional keyboard keys behave differently in different software.
I guess it will be very handy if I can program software specific shortcuts for applications I use.

Currently running set point 2.4

THX in advance

Hi sheridan,

Thanks for turning to the Logitech Forums for your questions.

This program should meet what you are wanting.

A confused caller to IBM was having troubles printing documents. He told the technician that the computer had said it "couldn't find printer." The user has also tried turning the computer screen to face the printer but that his computer still couldn't "see" the printer.

Re: Linking keyboard setting to software ?

Actually, uberOptions won't do what you want in this case. SetPoint has the possibility to add application-specific button settings for both keyboards and mouses, but the interface to edit them doesn't exist in SetPoint's windows. You can still create them by hand by editing the user.xml settings file directly, creating new AppOverride sections in the buttons you want. See this old thread at logigamer.com for some info.
