When Vista starts, I get the message "Logitech G-Series Profiler has stopped working" and then I can no longer use any of the macro keys. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled the latest version, but the error is still occuring.

Yeah I get the same thing every time I start my computer up.  I think it might have something to do with Norton Internet Security 2009.  Im pretty sure it was fine before I installed NIS.  Cant say for sure though.  Do you also have NIS?

I don't have Norton, I have Windows Live One Care and I still have the problem.  I'm going to try installing it with the firewall off.  I think you hit on a good point there.
