Logitech G15 Software deinstallation problem

[ Edited ]

Hello,

i would like to deinstall the Logitech software that supports the G15, but when i try it keeps stopping at the same point were it asks for the GPinst.msi inside the Local\Temp\pft2D4.tmp\ folder under the user account.

I have tried using the most recent version (2.02) of the logitech download, which is the original version i downloaded and a previous version as well as version from the cd. All give me the same problem. I tried this of course as Administrator. The system is a Vista 64bit.

Please provide me with a permanent working deinstallation.

Thank you

Re: Logitech G15 Software deinstallation problem

So, quick question: With the new download, did you just try to deinstall the software?

The simplest fix is to often try a complete reinstall of the software, then deinstall it like usual. This usually cleans up oddball permissions or directory issues like this.
