i bought this mouse about 1-2 years ago and love it due to the fact its left handed 
the main reason im posting is while i have noticed occasional mouse lag in the past its really become apparent in the new COD5 (world at war) where the mouse lag/interfernce? is very pronounced, im quite unsure what to do to solve it.
To narrow down that it is the mouse i have an old ambidex wired logitech optical and used that with COD5 without one hiccup at all when i switched back to the MX610 bam not long into it i was getting lag/stutters, i have FRAPS running so its not FPS related its purely connected to the mouse which i never experienced before. I have setpoint 4.60 software maybe upgrading to 5.0 will help? I even tried playing around with the gaming settings in setpoint enabling/disabling the acceleration playing with pointer speed and so on without any success, i just wanted other opinions before i shut down setpoint or experimented with other ideas, basically im hopin someone else has mx610 issues and can help me in anyway.
I have read around the net while the MX610 is good it is known for being sluggish in games now id have to disagree since COD4 did not perform this badly which is why im here and would appreciate any and all suggestions or software solutions.
