On my Windows XP my multimedia keys on G15 keyboard arent working?! I bought the keyboard today! When I open winamp(or any other music player),when I press the keys on left side of LCD(forward,rewind or stop) or on right side(wolume up, wolume down or play\pause) nothing is hapening!? How can I solve this problem?

have you tried the media keyes in windows media, if they don't work there your keyboard is defeckt.

but the g seiris keyboards have problems with the multi media keys. if you are using itunes here is a fix, that should work.

to fix this problem

1) go to the itunes folder

2) open it

3) make a new folder called Plug-Ins

4) downloade this file mmKeys.dll from

http://icecode.dk/itunes/mmKeys.dll
or http://notbedwell.com/forums/Attachments/mmKeys.dll

5) Place the file in the folder

6) restart itunes

this should work worked for me. hoped it was helpfull...

I tried that thing with itunes, on my computer it doesnt work, I will return keyboard tommorow to the store where I bought it! I have no response from media keys, everything else is working normally, just these keys are not working! Maybe its related with windows, I dont have the service pack 3, maybe some driver is missing!

Do you keys work without the logitech software? What about the Gaming mode button for disabling the windows key?

All my other keys are working including gaming mode button(I only have troubles with media keys and mute key)! I have downloaded Deep Software HID Plugin Universal v1.3.2.113 for winamp and managed to set some media keys(volume up,down) but this is not working in a way it is meant to work! I will try to dig in a google for a while, maybe I can find something! Thanks for help!

Windows drivers can get funny. If you can go and test this on another PC, you might see that the media keys are likely to work fine. Heck, this even happened to me with my G-15 back in 2006. My PC needed a reinstall though, so after a format/install of windows, it worked fine again and never had another problem.

There are less radical ways to get the Windows drivers to start working again, and several of these solutions can be found in our forums for searching under "Media Keys" .
