Now that's getting really weird, cause the game-mode switch on the keyboard functions on a hardware level, in the keyboard, to limit the Windows key.

Well that's what I thought was obvious untill it stopped working with the reste of the media keys. Are you sure about that? No media keys no game-mode toggle. So anyways, I was going to wait for the new software. Or maybe do you think I should get a replacement?

Hrm, IF there's a bad controller CPU on the mainboard of the device, and switching the game mode enables a short, it _might_ cause it.... The surefire way to determine if it's a hardware failure is to try the keyboard on another PC and see if the problem follows the keyboard. If it does, then we can get you set up for a replacement. If that doesn't give a conclusive answer, then, well, let's keep hammering on it :smileyhappy:

So... I just got a replacement, nothing changed. Definetly not the hardware.

I been looking into the usb ports specifications, could it be an amperage issue? I have an old MSI KT3 Ultra CE mobo (ms-6380e)

I'm not too familiar with usb devices and specs.  Does 500 mA max sound like a problem? In the USB device I have a MX500 mouse that's using 98mA and the concentrator (g15) using 500mA. In the G15's concentrator device there's USB Composite using 100mA and the keyboard HID also using 100mA. That's alot of devices at max amp.
