I have emailed tech support on this issue and have not received any answer, so I thought I might try here.

I have Logitech's cordless LX5 mouse(usb) and media keyboard(ps2). After installing these two items with Setpoint 4.0.121, I lose screen saver functionality. This happens regardless of which screen saver is selected (I typically run BOINC seti etc.). I have followed Logitech's clean install procedure and still it doesn't work.

When Setpoint is uninstalled screensaver works correctly. The mouse will work without Setpoint install, but I can't get anything from the keyboard.

Is there another driver available for the keyboard (I can live with out all the extra goodies, but it needs to at least have letters/ numbers)

Your keyboard should work with or without the SetPoint software.

Try performing a Clean Boot instalation and reinstall the SetPoint software. Let me know how it goes.

I uninstalled set point, this time the keyboard functioned without the software. Before it wouldn't type anything.

I already tried the clean boot procedure before re-install, that didn't work as far as screensaver functionality.

I guess all is good, I got screensaver function back, and I can type. However I'm extremely dissapointed at the logitech email response original submitted 17 sep, now 21 sep, with no response!
