We have reported this 'click and drag' with touch disc issue and it is currently under investigation.  

 

(Thanks for the detailed information in this threads posting, it has been identified as LCC, software side of issue.)

I also am experiencing this issue.  The Click and Drag function will not remain clicked for more than a few seconds, either with the button on the left of the keyboard, the Right Mouse button below the touchdisc, or the Double-Tap on the touchdisc method.  Very frustrating.  Dumped my iCal from the dock to the desktop, then accidentally in the trash.  I can confirm that this issue did not occur when I first purchased my keyboard.  I suspect something in one of Apple's bluetooth updates seems to be the problem.  Please inform us via email when there is a resolution for this.  It's very annoying.

I called tech support and the person I talked to was not aware of this dragging and releasing problem so I thought it was something I was doing wrong. But I see this is more than a single isolated problem from all the posts. The same thing is happening to me running Leopard 10.5. The support tech told me to post this problem on the forum because they look at these posts on a daily basis. Looking at the long running problem from the posted dates, guess the Logitech definition of "daily" is other than daily. They should have addressed this issue by now. Can't be that difficult.

I recommend using your Twitter account to poll others about the problem.  Logitech is on Twitter, simply follow them and send messages describing the problem.  It places this on a public forum.

I also have this issue and am awaiting a fix to be implemented.

Can the MOD (Woody) that commented in this thread please give an update for a potential fix as i am very frustrated i cannot use my expensive keyboard properly.

 

I have reported this issue with logitech support and got a response back stating to reinstall LCC V3.1, obviously that did no good and the issue is still there.

 

Please can this be fixed.

Same problem here, click-drag functionality impaired since SL update -- almost 6 months ago!  As mistrrhappy points out, this is a $150 keyboard.  PLEASE, Logitech, get us a friggin' patch already!

I am having the same problem - holding any of the mouse buttons down for more than a few seconds causes the button press to "time out" and be released (even though I'm still holding the physical button down).  This makes the keyboard virtually unusable for dragging operations, and is tremendously frustrating.  Please, Logitech, fix this immediately!
