I just recently received the DiNovo Mac Edition Keyboard (not edge) to use with my new MacBook Pro and specific keys are performing strange actions. I just need to know if this is fixable through some setting or update I am not seeing or if I should just return the keyboard.
So far this is what happens:
Key:
h will out put h'
delete about the return key will output a j and delete it
i will output an i and bring up iTunes
j will output a j and delete it
- on the num pad outputs a - and opens spaces
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same exact issue, and it's occurrence is very random. Logitech discontinued this keyboard, so they know something is haywire.
On my system...
Pressing 'o' would output '3AO' and open Safari. Pressing 'o' twice would enable caps lock. Pressing it a third time would disable caps lock, and output more odd characters.
Pressing 'p' would randomly open any application.
Pressing 'return' would open iTunes.
I contacted support, and they had me run through reinstalling the LCC software, which I knew wouldn't help. This is obviously an issue with the keyboard if pressing 'o' twice enables caps lock. Their solution was to offer a refund, or provide an alternative keyboard and mouse (since they do not offer this Mac edition any more). Since no other Logitech solution would work for me (I am using this in a media center), I choose a refund. They say it will take 4-6 weeks to get my refund, and I need to send them the keyboard before they will even start the process. They were quick to send me the refund details and shipping label. Now let's see how long it takes them to process my refund.
I am really in a pickle here. This is the only solution there is for my setup. I need a keyboard that has a trackpad or some type of pointing device built in. Using a mouse on the couch will not cut it.

Hi, just willing to add more input might this help to Logitech's people.
My diNovo Keyboard Mac® Edition (not Edge as well) doesn't behave like that; are both of you using it with an Apple laptop?, if so it might be systems with a built-in keyboard getting this specific behavior.
Thoughts:
Which keyboard layout map are you running?.
Do you have any other input device like a Wacom?.
Is the diNovo receiver attached to the Mac USB port or to a USB Hub?, if so, which brand is it?.
Do you have installed any software that adds any third party Input Managers to the Mac OS X?.
Do you run any AV like Norton AV, NetBarrier… aimed to block-delete viruses, key-loggers…? -yeah, I know-.
What I am getting is that after wake-up from sleep, these specific keys like Mail, Web Browser, Dashboard, media controls, et cetera don't work at all. No other keys show this behavior, with the exception of the Caps Lock orange LED failing to show, this is even more random but the key it belongs to works.
I still lack a working pattern for this, I have the USB receiver attached to the Apple Cinema Display 30" port along with the receiver for the Logitech MX Revolution mouse. In all honest I couldn't say if swapping the receiver to the Mac Pro USB ports would help at all, will check that out though.
Cheers.

I am using this with a Mac Mini. I replicated the issue with my Mac Pro. Both running Snow Leopard.
This is not an issue with the computer or any software. If hitting the 'o' two times causes the Caps Lock key to enable (and light up), then that's not the software or computer.
I am using the ANSI US Keyboard
I have no other input devices (other than the Apple Remote)
This device uses bluetooth, so the internal bluetooth is being used within the Mac Mini. There is no external or additional USB bluetooth adapters being used.
No additional software is installed.
I do not run any anti virus software.

I am using it with a Mac Pro running Snow Leopard as well.
I have tried to replicate the issue by swapping the keyboard layout but I couldn't. These are the US layouts listed on my end:

I understand 'ANSI US Keyboard' is the choice you're prompted with at the Logitech Control Center software set-up. What if (in case you're so desperate to give this a try), what if at the LCC setup you choose another keyboard layout (can't recall which one was mine, 'Spanish ISO ' or 'Western ISO' I guess but I could run it again if you need further confirmation) and later once the software is installed, you go to Mac OS X System Preferences, you change the layout inside Input Sources (as shown by the url image above) to whatever that suits you better. Maybe there is some software glitch regarding the ANSI US keyboard… sounds weird, that's for sure, but mine is working great.
Which device of yours is using Bluetooth?. Apple Remote is IR (infra red) which is a slap on the face cause I can't use it with my Mac Pro, and the Logitech diNovo keyboard uses USB as you know.
Cheers.

I think the problem is with the LCC. I think... (fingers crossed) I solved the problem.
I reverted back to 2.6.1 LCC and so far.. (1-2 hours) no problems.
I tried LCC 310 and LCC 320 but both do not work well or at all with the Mac Dinovo Edge.
So far so good, for anybody else researching the problem

"Which device of yours is using Bluetooth?"
What we are discussing here: Logitech DiNovo Edge. This is a wireless bluetooth device.

Actually, original poster said not Edge ![]()
Thanks for the clarification, though. The Edge is rad, but sadly not available with the keys layout I would need.
Cheers.
