Double characters using LCC 3.20

[ Edited ]

I just upgraded from 3.10 to 3.20, and now the letters from my Y-RB7 (Cordless Desktop Pro) get typed twice:

tthhee  qquuiicckk  bbrroowwnn ffooxx

When I downgrade to 3.10, the problem goes away.  To downgrade, go to Applications/Utilities/ and run the LLC Uninstaller.  Then, restart the computer and install an older version.  You'll need to restart your computer to complete the downgrade process.

Hopefully, Logitech will develop a fix in the near future.

Re: Double characters using LCC 3.20

I experienced the same issue with my Cordless MX Duo.  Reverting back to 3.1 cleared the issue.

And here's the link to past Control Centers, like 3:1.  And don't download a file with a "j" in the title, as the "j" indicates that it's the Japanese version!

To download older versions of the LCC software for Mac, simply click on the following link:

Re: Double characters using LCC 3.20

actually, you can type your password - but you need to type every character twice (you want "a",, you press "aa" and the result is "aaaa"), then hold shift down and press lef arrow once, which in turn activates the last two characters typed. Then press backspace, which oce duplicated removes those chars activated and one extra, yielding just one "a" Had to type in my admin password that way.

  • Cordless Desktop® Comfort Laser

    M/N: Y-RAU7 M-RAZ105

    p/n 867245-0100

    s/n scc24804543

If it helps, it flashes that the FLOCK is ON briefly, then that message disappears. The mouse works great.

Reverting to 3.1 seems to fix it.

Same problem here.

Updated to 3.2 and boom! No login unless you plugin a non-logi keyboard.

Then I figured out that this problem is pending since March!

SO WHY THE HELL DON'T YOU PULL THE CRAPPY 3.2 VERSION FROM YOUR SITE?

This would have saved me lots of time figuring out how to workaround your crap.
