Keyboard and Keyboard + Mice Combos with Mac (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

I am connected to a Macbook Pro using the built in Bluetooth.  I am running VM Fusion with Windows Vista.  The bluetooth is hosted on the mac... as opposed to assigned to Fusion and Windows.  Therefore, SetPoint does not recognize a keyboard is attached, although all functions work... except the number pad.

I have tried to assign a hotkey (messenger key) as a number lock key, but it does not work.  The only way I can get the number keys to work is by assigning bluetooth to Fusion, then going through setpoint.  Unfortunately, when I do that, the keyboard/mouse no longer work on the Mac side... even if I re-assign BT to the Mac.

In short, how can I get my number lock to default ON?  My keyboard control panel shows a generic PS/2 keyboard being connected. (Until I do the BT reassignment process).  Or, I can use the OSK to toggle it.  Is there any other, easier way?  Thanks.
