I was INFORMED via email:
"Logitech forum is for user discussion and it is not official channel for technical support. For the official support you can contact us via email or phone."
So there you have it.
I guess Logitech has no interest in having their bugs/problems aired in a public forum. Gotta love that 1980s MSish thinking.

But, when you signed up for the forum, the agreement that you approved of, was also that you accepted that this is a user discussion forum, not a means of getting support from Logitech.

In general if you look at the amount of support people and how many moderators participate in helping out, you will be quite surprised. Especially, if you look at other companies.

The agreement does NOT say there is no tech support here. It is simply standards of behavior etc.
The fact that Logitech is soliciting feedback etc for LCC belies that anyway.
These forums are prominently linked from their SUPPORT page.
And TWICE now, I have been told by Logitech telephone support that the place to get support is HERE.

I'd like to add that email support is ALSO not the way to get support from Logitech. I'm 2 weeks into an exchange about the cordless wave keyboard and its incompatibility (despite advertising on the box and elsewhere) with the Mac. Many days pass before a tech support person gets around to sending me a half-hearted, unhelpful reply. I'm not sure whether there is tech support to be had, ANYwhere, from Logitech.

Hi Everyone:
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I am sorry to hear all of your frusteration with our current Support channels. This platform is indeed a space to provide you a place to discuss issues with each other--and for the most part I am hear to listen to your concerns as well. But for actual technical support issues we encourage you to conact our Support departement as they are best suited to answer your questions.
Please feel free to send me your incident number and some details regarding your issues via a PM and I will be sure to follow up properly.
LaylaS,
Community Manager

Well I contacted Tech Support via email about a dead G9 mouse and they sent me the 'did you try...' troubleshooting guide which I replied "Yes, I've done all the things to get the mouse working and it is dead". But after that "did you try...' response from them, nothing. They never acknowledged the "yes I did everything to get it to work' message. I finally wrote back today and said I will stick with Microsoft products since I have never had one fail. Too bad, I like Logitech products and they usually make a quality product. I realize sometimes there's a lemon but to not provide adequate support to a (formerly) loyal customer is bad business. I know it's only one mouse out of millions they sell but it still cost me more than I've ever spent on a mouse. The Microsoft SIdewinder replacement mouse is working fine.

Chiming in here to report the same displeasure with the level of support from you folks. I sent an email regarding my Dinovo Edge's brightness keys not working, since the multiple threads on here about it go ignored. In my email, I said "I've reinstalled both LCC 3.1 and 2.7 several times". The email's contents? A link to LCC 3.1 and "instructions" to reinstall it. Basically a generic copy and paste.
Abysmal. Great keyboard, great products from Logi all around but man, I don't understand how a company so popular could make such fantastic peripherals and yet have worse tech support than Dell does these days.
