S530 for Mac - No Windows 7?

One of the reasons I love my Mac is that I can easily, if needs be, boot into Windows. Now, I just got WIndows 7 as part of a student upgrade, but I find my S530 for Mac kb/mouse set does not have a working set of Drivers for Windows 7.

I used an older version, and got functionality of the button maping, but only one set (IE I can't have different sets for games and for OS operations). Very silly, as having different sets would be one of the most basic features of a multi-button mouse.

I swear, this is the very last Logitech product I'm buying. Good value is easily overlooked when you have people who can't even develop a piece of software properly.

Re: S530 for Mac - No Windows 7?

I know this is a little after you posted - but indeed, the s530 set does work just fine under windows 7.  I am currently using both keyboard and mouse with it as I type this.  The only flaw I see is that I am going to have to re-map keys and make the batter monitors work myself.  It would be wonderful if logitech made this easier for the people who bought this for their windows machines, but no company can divert resources to products that are over 5 years old.  It's a lot to ask - and logitech has proven on more than one occasion to my company that they honour what businesses should be like - and create products that LAST.

So, hopefully if you have any other issues you will contact me for some help, rather than give up on an otherwise excellent company.

Cheers,
