DiNovo Edge Battery LED question

So I recently bought the DiNovo Edge, dropped the thing into the cradle to charge overnight. Wake up the next morning to see that the indicator displays 1/4 -- so I took the keyboard off of the cradle and put it back in, the LED flashes for a few minutes then goes solid with 1/4 the battery LED again. Now I connect to SetPoint and the software reports a full 60 day charge. Question is, faulty LED indicator, or is SetPoint telling me lies? Either way I presume I should return the keyboard.

Hi and welcome to the forums.

The tiny charge indicators on the keyboard - and this applies to remotes also - are not meant to be precision instruments! The report from SetPoint tends to be more accurate, but neither really matter at all - the Edge is very good on its charge and typically will keep on running, with a lot of use, on no more than an overnight charge once a month. Also you'll get a screen message if it IS getting particularly low. Mine shows the same indications as yours and it is fine, so yours should be the same with no call for return.
